Viltrox has released the 50mm f/1.8 AF Lens for Sony FE Mount and Nikon Z Mount. It’s optical construction consists of 11 elements in 10 groups, including one extra-low dispersion (ED) element, two high-refractive index elements and two aspherical elements. It has a minimum focusing distance of 55cm/21.6”, and has a filter thread size of uses a 55mm.
Viltrox 50mm F1.8 AF for FE and Z Mounts
The manual aperture ring on the 50mm F1.8 can be used for manual exposure control and this ring also features an 'A' position for automated, camera-based aperture selection. The Viltrox 50mm F1.8 lens and comes with an integrated Micro USB port for updating firmware as it’s released, it is also chipped for EXIF and autofocus data transfer. Lens has the external dimensions of 70mm/2.8” in diameter, 88.2mm/3.5” long and weighs 350g (12.4oz).
