Samsung S22 Lineup
At its Unpacked 2022 event, Samsung unveiled a trio of new smartphones, including the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the company's most powerful smartphone to date. Commencing with the top of the list, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a big 6.8-inch display and is designed in a similar manner to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra from a couple of years earlier. Additionally, it isn't simply about the same physical appearance. For the first time in the Galaxy series, the S22 Ultra includes an integrated S Pen stylus. Samsung claims to have created the most responsive stylus experience to date. The S Pen can be used as a Bluetooth remote to control the camera on the S22 Ultra. Unfortunately the S22+ and S22 do not have support for the stylus.
Samsung S22 Series Camera Technology
In terms of camera technology, the S22 Ultra is the only member of the new S22 series to contain a 10x optical zoom camera. The 10x zoom camera is equipped with a 10MP sensor and an F4.9 lens. The main camera has the same 108MP image sensor as last year's model, is paired with an F1.8 lens, and has OIS and PDAF. A 3x optical zoom telephoto camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 40MP front-facing selfie camera are all included in the phone. Except for the front-facing camera, which is 10MP on the two smaller phones, these three cameras are the same across all S22 series models.The S22+ and S22 don't have 108 megapixel main cameras, but they do have a new 50MP image sensor that's 23% larger than the S21's primary sensors. The lens has an F1.8 maximum aperture.
All S22 smartphones have a new image processing technology known as Adaptive Pixel. This technology is used to take brighter, higher-resolution photographs. It's an intriguing technology that mixes 108MP or 50MP data with pixel-binned images, depending on the smartphone. The 108MP sensor, for example, packs a lot of pixels into a tiny space. It performs well in bright light but struggles in dim light. To address this issue, an alternate mode exists that combines many pixels into a larger pixel site that works better in low light. If all else is equal, the larger a pixel, the better its low-light performance. The new Adaptive Pixel technology combines two images, one full-resolution and the other with improved noise performance.

Samsung S22 Series RAM, Storage and Battery
When it comes to the new smartphones nternals, all three have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU and at least 8GB of RAM. If you increase the storage, the S22 Ultra comes with 12GB. The S22 and S22+ have 128GB and 256GB capacities, respectively, while the S22 Ultra has 512GB and 1TB capabilities. Unsurprisingly, the batteries in the various-sized phones differ. The S22 is powered by a 3,700mAh battery with 25W rapid charging. The S22+ features a higher capacity of 4,500mAh and 45W rapid charging. Finally, the S22 Ultra comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W rapid charging.
Samsung S22 Series Prices and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is available in black, white, green, and pink gold hues, with prices starting at $800. The Galaxy S22+ is available in the same color variants and costs $1,000. The flagship S22 Ultra device, which is available in black, white, green, and burgundy hues and starts at $1,200.
