In recent years, we've seen Chinese lens manufacturers rapidly release new models to the market. Once known mostly for their manual focus lenses that were often criticized for their optical quality and lack of features, many of these brands have significantly improved. Over time, they've come closer to matching the quality of OEM lenses, while still managing to keep their prices surprisingly affordable.

We've put together a list of lenses ( 20 lenses to be exact as of June 2025) under $200 that are available for the Nikon Z mount cameras. All of the lenses are prime (fixed focal length), and most of them feature autofocus. While some of them only cover APS-C sensors, many of them also cover Full-frame sensors. Their focal lengths generally range from wide-angle to short normal, making them versatile for everyday use.
