Godox iA32 Mini, iM22 Mini, iM20 Mini Flashes
Godox is arguably the most active manufacturer in the on-camera flash segment and only few days after the announcement of their V100 on-camera flash, they just released 3 more new flashes in their Mini series: Godox iM20 Mini, iM22 Mini, and iA32 Mini. Main common selling points of these three flashes are their compact sizes and affordable prices.
Godox iM20 and iM22 Mini Flashes
Both flashes are compatible with any camera with a hot shoe mount that allows flash connection. The smaller iM20 and iM22 mini flashes have fixed heads while the more capable iA32 has a bounce head that can be adjustable in the -7° to 90° range. In addition, the iM20 and iM22 have built-in batteries that can be charged via USB-C ports, whereas the iA32 is powered by 2 x AA batteries. None of the flashes have TTL shooting or wireless capability, however the iA32 has the optical sync feature which makes it possible to connect to and trigger multiple flashes at once.
Most new mirrorless and advanced compact cameras are designed without built-in flashes these days.
