Photography has been my hobby since my early ages, that is why I founded Camera Decision in the first place as a side project, never imagined that it would grow so big as it is today. To give a perspective about the popularity of the site, last year more than 6 million readers has visited CameraDecision.com! It has been a tough ride though starting from 2014, trying to keep up with the latest information, adding and updating thousands of cameras and lenses (you can't imagine how hard it is sometimes to access accurate specs even from official manufacturer pages), dealing with technical problems, server crashes (and huge server bills as well), coding issues, testing and adding new features, etc. but what kept me going on all these hard times was my love and curiosity to photography gear. If I was doing it just for money and chose a product that didn't interest me, I feel like I would have never gone this far.

Besides photography, my next big hobby is Stereo systems: Loudspeakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, streamers, DACs, etc. I can't say I am an audiophile, and not trying to be one but high quality music listening experience is very important in my life. As a result of this interest, I have started a new website: SpeakerDecision.com . Actually, it has been more than a year but I haven't promoted it here before and preferred to have it grow organically. If you visit the new site, you will see that it is designed in a very similar way to Camera Decision so you will feel at home.

Admittedly, I find comparing sound systems extremely difficult compared to cameras (any many other products) since listening is a very personal experience and sound quality is highly subjective but I still decided to take the challange and try to help to make the decision process as objective as possible by using data. Time will tell if I will succeed but the reaction from the readers are not bad so far!

On a side note, I observed that a significant percentage of audiophiles are also interested in camera gear as well, it may be coincidence but I believe these two hobbies get along well so hope some of you you will have some interest and hopefully benefit from Speaker Decision too.
