Sony HX80 Sensor and Photography Features

Sony HX80 has a 18.0MP 1/2.3 (6.17 x 4.55 mm ) sized BSI-CMOS sensor and features Bionz X processor. You can shoot at maximum resolution of 4896 x 3672 pixels with aspect ratios of 1:1, 4:3, 3:2 and 16:9. HX80 has a native ISO range of 80 - 3200 which can be boosted to 12800 but unfortunately, Sony HX80 doesn't have RAW file support. Sony HX80 back view and LCD

For those of you who loves shooting selfies, self or group photos, Sony HX80 will make your life easier with its Selfie friendly screen. Another group of users who will take advantage of HX80's LCD screen are Vloggers and any video creators who are working in a single-person setup.

HX80 has a built-in Electronic viewfinder, making it easier to shoot in direct sunlight and in other situations where it might be difficult to view the LCD monitor. The viewfinder has a coverage of 100%. 100% coverage ensures that what you see in the viewfinder while shooting matches exactly what you will get later in your image, helping accurate framing your shots and minimizes the need for cropping images later.
