    FujiFilm Z70 weighs 124 g (0.27 lb / 4.37 oz) and has external dimensions of 91 x 57 x 20 mm (3.58 x 2.24 x 0.79″). Weather Sealing

FujiFilm Z70 doesn't have any environmental sealings on its body so you got to be extra careful to protect it against water and dust. If you shoot under these conditions very often, consider checking Top Compact Cameras with Weather Sealing page.

    FujiFilm Z70 Lens

FujiFilm Z70 features a 36-180 mm F4.0-4.8 5× zoom lens. With a focal length of only 36mm on the wide end, the camera doesn't have wide angle capability at all. On the plus side, 180mm reach on tele gives a lot of flexibility and satisfy most of your needs.

FujiFilm Z70 Sensor and Photography Features

FujiFilm Z70 has a 12.0MP 1/2.3-inch (6.17 x 4.55 mm ) sized CCD sensor . You can shoot at maximum resolution of 4000 x 3000 pixels with aspect ratios of 4:3 and 16:9. Z70 has a native ISO range of 100 - 1600 but unfortunately, FujiFilm Z70 doesn't have RAW file support. If you need a Compact camera with a RAW support, consider or in the same price range.

FujiFilm Z70 is not the highest resolution Small Sensor camera. GoPro Hero11 Black with its 27.0MP sensor is leading in this class. Check the comparison of FujiFilm Z70 vs GoPro Hero11 Black or take a look at Highest resolution Compact cameras list.

Let's look at how the size of the FujiFilm Z70's 1/2.3-inch sensor compares with other standard sensor sizes.

    FujiFilm Z70 Sensor Size Comparison
Comparison image of FujiFilm Z70 Sensor Size with other standard sensors

    FujiFilm Z70 LCD

FujiFilm Z70 has a Fixed Type 2.70-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 230k dots. At only 2.70", the screen is on the smaller side and 230kdot resolution is lower than most of the recent models in this class.

FujiFilm Z70 back view and LCD

Unfortunately FujiFilm FinePix Z70 doesn't have a Selfie friendly screen. If this feature is important for your shooting style, check here the list of Best Compact Cameras with Selfie Friendly LCD screen.

Z70 doesn't have a viewfinder and no option for external viewfinder. Lack of a viewfinder can be problematic especially under strong light where visibility of LCD screens goes down dramatically. If you need a Compact camera with a built-in viewfinder in a similar price range, consider Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS100 (Lumix DMC-TZ100) (Compare) or Nikon Coolpix P7800 (Compare).
Alternatively, check here the list of all Compact cameras with viewfinder..

FujiFilm Z70 Connectivity, Storage and Battery

FujiFilm Z70 has a USB 2.0 (480 Mbit/sec) port to connect your camera to other devices.

    FujiFilm Z70 Video Features

With FujiFilm Z70, you can record your videos at a highest resolution of 1280 x 720 at 30 fps and save in and Motion JPEG formats. 1280 x 720 is a low video resolution by todays standards. If video quality is important for you, we recommend you to look at cameras with Full HD, even better 4K / Ultra-HD resolution .

    Microphones, Speaker and Headphone Connections

FujiFilm FinePix Z70 has a built-in Mono microphone but no speaker. On the other hand, FujiFilm Z70 doesn't have any connections for external microphones and headphones. If you need a Compact camera with external microphone connectivity, consider or in a similar price range.
