Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Sony ZV-E10 and Sony A3000 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Sony ZV-E10 has external dimensions of 115 x 64 x 45 mm (4.53 x 2.52 x 1.77″) and weighs 343 g (0.76 lb / 12.10 oz) (including batteries). Sony A3000 has external dimensions of 128 x 91 x 85 mm (5.04 x 3.58 x 3.35″) and weighs 411 g (0.91 lb / 14.50 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Sony ZV-E10 and the Sony A3000. Sony ZV-E10 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 13mm narrower, 27mm shorter and 40mm thinner than Sony A3000.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Sony ZV-E10 and Sony A3000.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Sony ZV-E10 and Sony A3000.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Sony ZV-E10 is significantly lighter (68g ) than the Sony A3000 which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since both Sony ZV-E10 and Sony A3000 have the same Sony E lens mount and APS-C sized sensors, lenses will not be a differentiator on total size of the system.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Sony ZV-E10 nor Sony Alpha A3000 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features
Sony ZV-E10 and Sony A3000's LCD screens have the same diagonal size of 3.00 inches.
On the other hand, Sony ZV-E10 sports a
Fully Articulated screen which you can change the angle and position of the screen almost freely, making it possible to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels, and especially very useful for shooting selfies and video. Sony A3000's LCD screen is a fixed type which provides almost no flexibility in shooting positions compared to ZV-E10.
