Both Sony A7C II and Canon M6 MII have 33.0 MP resolution sensors but Sony A7C II's sensor is Full frame (35.8 x 23.8 mm ) and Canon M6 MII's sensor is APS-C (22.3 x 14.9 mm ).
Since Sony A7C II's has a larger sensor area with the same resolution, this means that it also has a larger pixel area hence better light collecting capacity for a given aperture compared to Canon M6 MII.
