Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm X-T10 and Sony RX100 IV side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X-T10 has external dimensions of 118 x 83 x 41 mm (4.65 x 3.27 x 1.61″) and weighs 381 g (0.84 lb / 13.44 oz) (including batteries). Sony RX100 IV has external dimensions of 102 x 58 x 41 mm (4.02 x 2.28 x 1.61″) and weighs 298 g (0.66 lb / 10.51 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T10 and the Sony RX100 IV. Sony RX100 IV is 16mm narrower and 25mm shorter than Fujifilm X-T10 but they have the same thickness of 41mm. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Sony RX100 IV has a built-in lens but Fujifilm X-T10 doesn't. Once you put a lens on X-T10, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T10 and Sony RX100 IV.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-T10 and Sony RX100 IV.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Sony RX100 IV is significantly lighter (83g ) than the Fujifilm X-T10 which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on X-T10, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Fujifilm X-T10 nor Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 IV provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors.
