Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since Fujifilm X-E3 has an APS-C sized sensor and Hasselblad X2D has a smaller Medium format sensor, Hasselblad X2D's lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will generally be lighter and smaller than the Fujifilm X-E3 lenses.

LCD Screen Size and Features

Hasselblad X2D's 3.60" LCD screen is slightly larger than Fujifilm X-E3's 3" screen.

In addition to the size advantage, Hasselblad X2D LCD screen also has a Tilting feature where you can change the angle of the screen to make it easier to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels. On the other hand, Fujifilm X-E3 has a fixed type screen which provides less flexibility in shooting positions compared to X2D 100c.

Fujifilm X-E3 vs Hasselblad X2D: Sensor Comparison

Fujifilm X-E3 has a 24.0MP APS-C (23.6 x 15.6 mm ) sized CMOS X-TRANS III sensor and features EXR Processor III processor. On the other hand, Hasselblad X2D has a 101.8MP Medium format (44 x 33 mm ) sized CMOS sensor .

Hasselblad X2D's sensor provides 77.8MP more than Fujifilm X-E3's sensor, which gives a significant advantage in real life. You can print your images larger or crop more freely. On the other hand, please keep in mind that Max sensor resolution is not the only determinant of resolving power. Factors such as the optical elements, low pass filter, pixel size and sensor technology also affects the final resolution of the captured image.

Another difference between these two cameras is that Fujifilm X-E3's sensor lacks anti-alias (Low-Pass) filter. Removing anti-alias filter increases the sharpness and level of detail but at the same time, it increases the chance of moiré occurring in certain scenes.

Below you can see the X-E3 and X2D 100c sensor size comparison.

Sensor Size and Resolution Comparison image of Fujifilm X-E3 and Hasselblad X2D Cameras

Fujifilm X-E3 vs Hasselblad X2D Comparison of Available Lenses
Which camera has more lenses?

The number of available lenses is a big deciding factor when choosing your interchangeable lens camera. When we look at the available lenses for these two cameras, we see that the Fujifilm X-E3 has an advantage over the Hasselblad X2D. There are 84 lenses for the Fujifilm X-E3's Fujifilm X mount, but on the other hand, there are only 13 lenses for the Hasselblad X2D's Hasselblad X lens mount.

Another important factor is the availability of image stabilization. X2D 100c's built-in Image stabilization system is effective for compensating vibration up to 7.0-stops according to CIPA standards.
On the other hand, Fujifilm X-E3 doesn't have this feature so you have to buy a lens with optical stabilization feature. Currently there are 18 lenses for Fujifilm X mount with Optical Image Stabilization features.
