Both Canon SX280 HS and Sony A7S III have 12.0 MP resolution sensors but Canon SX280 HS's sensor is 1/2.3-inch (6.17 x 4.55 mm ) and Sony A7S III's sensor is Full frame (35.6 x 23.8 mm ).
