Both Canon 7D MII and Sony HX300 have 20.0 MP resolution sensors but Canon 7D MII's sensor is APS-C (22.4 x 15 mm ) and Sony HX300's sensor is 1/2.3-inch (6.16 x 4.62 mm ).
