Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Samsung ST100 is 15g lighter than the Samsung PL200 but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Weather Sealing

LCD Screen Size and Features
Samsung ST100's 3.50" LCD screen is slightly larger than Samsung PL200's 3" screen.
Unfortunately, both cameras has fixed screens so they don't tilt or flip in directions.
