Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Sigma fp and Leica TL2 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Sigma fp has external dimensions of 113 x 70 x 45 mm (4.45 x 2.76 x 1.77″) and weighs 422 g (0.93 lb / 14.89 oz) (including batteries). Leica TL2 has external dimensions of 134 x 69 x 33 mm (5.28 x 2.72 x 1.3″) and weighs 399 g (0.88 lb / 14.07 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Sigma fp and the Leica TL2. Leica TL2 is 1mm shorter and 12mm thinner than Sigma fp but it is also 21mm wider.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Sigma fp and Leica TL2.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Sigma fp and Leica TL2.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Leica TL2 is 23g lighter than the Sigma fp but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since Sigma fp has a Full frame sensor and Leica TL2 has a smaller APS-C sensor, Leica TL2's lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will generally be lighter and smaller than the Sigma fp lenses.
Weather Sealing
With its weather-sealed body, we believe that the fp has a big advantage over the which doesn't provide any kind of environmental sealing.
LCD Screen Size and Features
Leica TL2's 3.70" LCD screen is slightly larger than Sigma fp's 3.2 screen.
Unfortunately, both cameras has fixed screens so they don't tilt or flip in directions.
