Both D3 and 1D X MIII have weather sealings in their body, making them resistant to water and dust.

LCD Screen Size and Features

Canon 1D X III's 3.20" LCD screen is slightly larger than Nikon D3's 3" screen.

Unfortunately, both cameras has fixed screens so they don't tilt or flip in directions.

Canon 1D X III's sensor provides 8MP more than Nikon D3's sensor, which gives a significant advantage in real life. You can print your images larger or crop more freely. Nikon D3 and Canon 1D X III have almost the same sensor size so none of them has any significant advantage over other in providing control over depth of field when used with same focal length and aperture.
