Both Kodak AZ528 and Fujifilm X-T10 have 16.0 MP resolution sensors but Kodak AZ528's sensor is 1/2.3 (6.17 x 4.55 mm ) and Fujifilm X-T10's sensor is APS-C (23.6 x 15.6 mm ).
Since Fujifilm X-T10's has a larger sensor area with the same resolution, this means that it also has a larger pixel area hence better light collecting capacity for a given aperture compared to Kodak AZ528.

As seen above, Fujifilm X-T10 has a 13.1x Larger sensor area than Kodak AZ528. Larger sensors give photographer more control on the depth of field and blurry background compared to smaller sensor when shot in same focal length and aperture.
Sensor size sets the circle of confusion, so it drives how much depth of field each

One thing to watch when comparing these two: they have different sensor sizes
(1/2.3 versus APS-C),
so compare them at the same framing rather than the same focal length.
