24.0MP APS-C (22.3 x 14.9 mm ) sized CMOS sensor and features Digic 4+ processor. On the other hand, Ricoh GXR A16 24-85mm has a
16.0MP APS-C (23.6 x 15.7 mm ) sized CMOS sensor and features Smooth Imaging Engine IV processor.
Canon T7's sensor provides 8MP more than Ricoh GXR A16 24-85mm's sensor, which gives a significant advantage in real life. You can print your images larger or crop more freely.
