Size and weight is a big decision factor when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, We are going to illustrate Olympus E-M1X and Leica TL2 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Olympus E-M1X has external dimensions of 144 x 147 x 75 mm (5.67 x 5.79 x 2.95″) and weighs 997 g (2.20 lb / 35.17 oz) (including batteries). Leica TL2 has external dimensions of 134 x 69 x 33 mm (5.28 x 2.72 x 1.3″) and weighs 399 g (0.88 lb / 14.07 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front view size comparison of Olympus E-M1X and Leica TL2. Leica TL2 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 10mm narrower, 78mm shorter and 42mm thinner than Olympus E-M1X.
Here is the back view size comparison of Olympus E-M1X and Leica TL2.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Olympus E-M1X and Leica TL2.
Weight is another important factor especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Leica TL2 is significantly lighter (598g ) than the Olympus E-M1X which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you have to also take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since Leica TL2 has an APS-C sized sensor and Olympus E-M1X has a smaller Four Thirds sensor, Olympus E-M1X's lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will generally be lighter and smaller than the Leica TL2 lenses.
With its weather sealed body, we believe that E-M1X has a big advantage over which doesn't provide any kind of environmental sealing.
LCD Screen Size and Features
Leica TL2's 3.7" LCD screen is slightly larger than Olympus E-M1X's 3" screen.
On the other hand, Olympus E-M1X sports a Fully Articulated screen
which you can change the angle and position of the screen almost freely, making it possible to shoot from waist or over the head levels, and especially very useful for shooting selfies and video. On the other hand, Leica TL2 has a fixed type screen which provides almost no flexibility in shooting positions compared to E-M1X.
