Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Nikon D7200 and Pentax KF side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Nikon D7200 has external dimensions of 136 x 107 x 76 mm (5.35 x 4.21 x 2.99″) and weighs 765 g (1.49 lb / 23.81 oz) (including batteries). Pentax KF has external dimensions of 126 x 93 x 74 mm (4.94 x 3.66 x 2.91″) and weighs 684 g (1.50 lb / 24.12 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Nikon D7200 and the Pentax KF. Pentax KF is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 10mm narrower, 14mm shorter and 2mm thinner than Nikon D7200.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Nikon D7200 and Pentax KF.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Nikon D7200 and Pentax KF.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Pentax KF is 81g lighter than the Nikon D7200 but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since both Nikon D7200 and Pentax KF have the same APS-C sized sensor, their lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will be similar in size and weight.
Weather Sealing
Both the D7200 and the KF have weather sealings in their bodies, making them resistant to water and dust.
LCD Screen Size and Features
Nikon D7200's 3.20" LCD screen is slightly larger than Pentax KF's 3 screen.
