Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Leica TL2 and Olympus PEN-F side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Leica TL2 has external dimensions of 134 x 69 x 33 mm (5.28 x 2.72 x 1.3″) and weighs 399 g (0.88 lb / 14.07 oz) (including batteries). Olympus PEN-F has external dimensions of 125 x 72 x 37 mm (4.92 x 2.83 x 1.46″) and weighs 427 g (0.94 lb / 15.06 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Leica TL2 and the Olympus PEN-F. Leica TL2 is 3mm shorter and 4mm thinner than Olympus PEN-F but it is also 9mm wider.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Leica TL2 and Olympus PEN-F.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Leica TL2 and Olympus PEN-F.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Leica TL2 is 28g lighter than the Olympus PEN-F but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since Leica TL2 has an APS-C sized sensor and Olympus PEN-F has a smaller Four Thirds sensor, Olympus PEN-F's lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will generally be lighter and smaller than the Leica TL2 lenses.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Leica TL2 nor Olympus PEN-F provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. If weather sealing is a must-have feature for you, check these sections: Top Mirrorless Cameras with Weather Sealing
LCD Screen Size and Features
Leica TL2's 3.70" LCD screen is slightly larger than Olympus PEN-F's 3 screen.
