Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Leica M11-D and Leica M EV1 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Leica M11-D has external dimensions of 139 x 80 x 39 mm (5.47 x 3.15x 1.54″ ) and weighs 539 g (1.2 lb / 18.69 oz) (including batteries). Leica M EV1 has external dimensions of 139 x 80 x 38 mm (5.47 x 3.15 x 1.5″) and weighs 484 g (1.07 lb / 17.07 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Leica M11-D and the Leica M EV1. Leica M11-D has the same height and width with Leica M EV1. On the other hand, with a thickness of 39mm, it is 1mm thicker.

Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Leica M EV1 is 55g lighter than the Leica M11-D but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since both Leica M11-D and Leica M EV1 have the same Leica M lens mount and Full frame sized sensors, lenses will not be a differentiator on total size of the system.
Weather Sealing
Both the M11-D and the M EV1 have weather sealings in their bodies, making them resistant to water and dust.
