Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Leica M10 and Samsung Galaxy NX side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Leica M10 has external dimensions of 139 x 39 x 80 mm (5.47 x 1.54 x 3.15″) and weighs 660 g (1.46 lb / 23.28 oz) (including batteries). Samsung Galaxy NX has external dimensions of 137 x 101 x 26 mm (5.39 x 3.98 x 1.02″) and weighs 495 g (1.09 lb / 17.46 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Leica M10 and the Samsung Galaxy NX. Samsung Galaxy NX is 2mm narrower and 54mm thinner than Leica M10 but it is also 62mm taller.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Leica M10 and Samsung Galaxy NX.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Leica M10 and Samsung Galaxy NX.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Samsung Galaxy NX is significantly lighter (165g ) than the Leica M10 which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since Leica M10 has a Full frame sensor and Samsung Galaxy NX has a smaller APS-C sensor, Samsung Galaxy NX's lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will generally be lighter and smaller than the Leica M10 lenses.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Leica M10 nor Samsung Galaxy NX provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. If weather sealing is a must-have feature for you, check these sections: Top Mirrorless Cameras with Weather Sealing
LCD Screen Size and Features
Samsung Galaxy NX's 4.80" LCD screen is slightly larger than Leica M10's 3″ screen.
Unfortunately, both cameras has fixed screens so they don't tilt or flip in directions.
