Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm X-T10 and Panasonic GM5 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X-T10 has external dimensions of 118 x 83 x 41 mm (4.65 x 3.27 x 1.61″) and weighs 381 g (0.84 lb / 13.44 oz) (including batteries). Panasonic GM5 has external dimensions of 99 x 60 x 36 mm (3.9 x 2.36 x 1.42″) and weighs 211 g (0.47 lb / 7.44 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T10 and the Panasonic GM5. Panasonic GM5 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 19mm narrower, 23mm shorter and 5mm thinner than Fujifilm X-T10.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T10 and Panasonic GM5.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-T10 and Panasonic GM5.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Panasonic GM5 is significantly lighter (170g ) than the Fujifilm X-T10 which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since Fujifilm X-T10 has an APS-C sized sensor and Panasonic GM5 has a smaller Four Thirds sensor, Panasonic GM5's lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will generally be lighter and smaller than the Fujifilm X-T10 lenses.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Fujifilm X-T10 nor Panasonic Lumix DMC-GM5 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features
Fujifilm X-T10 and Panasonic GM5's LCD screens have the same diagonal size of 3.00 inches.
On the other hand, Fujifilm X-T10 features a
Tilting screen where you can change the angle of the screen to make it easier to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels whereas the Panasonic GM5 has a fixed type screen which provides less flexibility in shooting positions compared to X-T10.
