Panasonic 3D1 has a Fixed Type 3.5″ LCD screen with a resolution of 460k dots. The 3.5″ screen is larger than average but460kdot resolution is lower than most of the recent models in this class.

3D1 doesn't have a viewfinder and no option for external viewfinder. Lack of a viewfinder can be problematic especially under strong light where visibility of LCD screens goes down dramatically. Panasonic 3D1 can shoot continuously at max speed of and has max shutter speed of 1/1300 sec.
Unfortunately 3D1 doesn't have an external flash shoe so you are limited with the built-in flash.
Panasonic 3D1 features a Contrast Detection autofocusing system. The AF system has 23 points to choose from.
Panasonic 3D1 also features Face detection AF
where it intelligently detects the faces in the frame and locks the focus automatically.
With Panasonic 3D1, you can record your videos at a highest resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 60,30 fps and save in MPEG-4, AVCHD and Motion JPEG formats.
