Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Sony ZV-1 and Canon M50 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Sony ZV-1 has external dimensions of 105 x 60 x 44 mm (4.13 x 2.36 x 1.73″) and weighs 294 g (0.65 lb / 10.37 oz) (including batteries). Canon M50 has external dimensions of 116 x 88 x 59 mm (4.57 x 3.46 x 2.32″) and weighs 390 g (0.86 lb / 13.76 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Sony ZV-1 and the Canon M50. Sony ZV-1 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 11mm narrower, 28mm shorter and 15mm thinner than Canon M50. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Sony ZV-1 has a built-in lens but Canon M50 doesn't. Once you put a lens on M50, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Sony ZV-1 and Canon M50.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Sony ZV-1 and Canon M50.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Sony ZV-1 is significantly lighter (96g ) than the Canon M50 which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on M50, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Sony ZV-1 nor Canon EOS M50 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features

Fully Articulating screens where you can change the angle of the screen to make it easier to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels. Fully articulating screens are also useful for taking Selfies and video.
