Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Samsung WB700 and Casio EX-100 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Samsung WB700 has external dimensions of 100 x 59 x 22 mm (3.94 x 2.32 x 0.87″) and weighs (including batteries). Casio EX-100 has external dimensions of 119x67x50 mm and weighs 389 g (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Samsung WB700 and the Casio EX-100. Samsung WB700 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 19mm narrower, 8mm shorter and 28mm thinner than Casio EX-100.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Samsung WB700 is 389g lighter than the Casio EX-100 but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Samsung WB700 nor Casio Exilim EX-100 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features
Casio EX-100's 3.50" LCD screen is slightly larger than Samsung WB700's 3" screen.
In addition to the size advantage, Casio EX-100 LCD screen also has a
Tilting feature where you can change the angle of the screen to make it easier to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels. On the other hand, Samsung WB700 has a fixed type screen which provides less flexibility in shooting positions compared to EX-100.
