Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Samsung NX30 and Samsung NX300M side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Samsung NX30 has external dimensions of 127 x 96 x 58 mm (5 x 3.78 x 2.28″) and weighs 375 g (0.83 lb / 13.23 oz) (including batteries). Samsung NX300M has external dimensions of 122 x 64 x 41 mm (4.8 x 2.52 x 1.61″) and weighs 331 g (0.73 lb / 11.68 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Samsung NX30 and the Samsung NX300M. Samsung NX300M is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 5mm narrower, 32mm shorter and 17mm thinner than Samsung NX30.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Samsung NX30 and Samsung NX300M.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Samsung NX300M is 44g lighter than the Samsung NX30 but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since both Samsung NX30 and Samsung NX300M have the same Samsung NX lens mount and APS-C sized sensors, lenses will not be a differentiator on total size of the system.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Samsung NX30 nor Samsung NX300M provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features
Samsung NX300M's 3.30" LCD screen is slightly larger than Samsung NX30's 3" screen.
