Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Samsung Galaxy Camera 4G and Canon 700D side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Samsung Galaxy Camera 4G has external dimensions of 129 x 71 x 19 mm (5.08 x 2.8 x 0.75″) and weighs 305 g (0.67 lb / 10.76 oz) (including batteries). Canon 700D has external dimensions of 133 x 100 x 79 mm (5.24 x 3.94 x 3.11″) and weighs 580 g (1.28 lb / 20.46 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Samsung Galaxy Camera 4G and the Canon 700D. Samsung Galaxy Camera 4G is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 4mm narrower, 29mm shorter and 60mm thinner than Canon 700D. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Samsung Galaxy Camera 4G has a built-in lens but Canon 700D doesn't. Once you put a lens on 700D, its thickness will increase significantly.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Samsung Galaxy Camera 4G and Canon 700D.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Samsung Galaxy Camera 4G is significantly lighter (275g ) than the Canon 700D which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on 700D, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Samsung Galaxy Camera 4G nor Canon EOS 700D (EOS Rebel T5i) provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features
Samsung Galaxy Camera 4G's 4.80" LCD screen is slightly larger than Canon 700D's 3 screen.
