Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Pentax MX-1 and Fujifilm X-T10 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Pentax MX-1 has external dimensions of 122 x 61 x 51 mm (4.8 x 2.4 x 2.01″) and weighs 391 g (0.86 lb / 13.79 oz) (including batteries). Fujifilm X-T10 has external dimensions of 118 x 83 x 41 mm (4.65 x 3.27 x 1.61″) and weighs 381 g (0.84 lb / 13.44 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Pentax MX-1 and the Fujifilm X-T10. Fujifilm X-T10 is 4mm narrower and 10mm thinner than Pentax MX-1 but it is also 22mm taller. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Pentax MX-1 has a built-in lens but Fujifilm X-T10 doesn't. Once you put a lens on X-T10, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Pentax MX-1 and Fujifilm X-T10.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Pentax MX-1 and Fujifilm X-T10.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Fujifilm X-T10 is 10g lighter than the Pentax MX-1 but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on X-T10, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Pentax MX-1 nor Fujifilm X-T10 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors.
