Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Olympus PEN-F and Canon M50 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Olympus PEN-F has external dimensions of 125 x 72 x 37 mm (4.92 x 2.83 x 1.46″) and weighs 427 g (0.94 lb / 15.06 oz) (including batteries). Canon M50 has external dimensions of 116 x 88 x 59 mm (4.57 x 3.46 x 2.32″) and weighs 390 g (0.86 lb / 13.76 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Olympus PEN-F and the Canon M50. Olympus PEN-F is 16mm shorter and 22mm thinner than Canon M50 but it is also 9mm wider.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Olympus PEN-F and Canon M50.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Olympus PEN-F and Canon M50.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Canon M50 is 37g lighter than the Olympus PEN-F but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since Canon M50 has an APS-C sized sensor and Olympus PEN-F has a smaller Four Thirds sensor, Olympus PEN-F's lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will generally be lighter and smaller than the Canon M50 lenses.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Olympus PEN-F nor Canon EOS M50 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. If weather sealing is a must-have feature for you, check these sections: Top Mirrorless Cameras with Weather Sealing
LCD Screen Size and Features

Fully Articulating screens where you can change the angle of the screen to make it easier to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels. Fully articulating screens are also useful for taking Selfies and video.
