Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Nikon P80 and Panasonic FZ28 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Nikon P80 has external dimensions of 110 x 79 x 78 mm (4.33 x 3.11 x 3.07″) and weighs 405 g (0.89 lb / 14.29 oz) (including batteries). Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Nikon P80 and the Panasonic FZ28. Nikon P80 is 8mm narrower and 11mm thinner than Panasonic FZ28 but it is also 4mm taller.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Nikon P80 is 12g lighter than the Panasonic FZ28 but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
