Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Nikon P7700 and Panasonic G7 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Nikon P7700 has external dimensions of 119 x 73 x 50 mm (4.69 x 2.87 x 1.97″) and weighs 392 g (0.86 lb / 13.83 oz) (including batteries). Panasonic G7 has external dimensions of 125 x 86 x 77 mm (4.92 x 3.39 x 3.03″) and weighs 410 g (0.90 lb / 14.46 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Nikon P7700 and the Panasonic G7. Nikon P7700 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 6mm narrower, 13mm shorter and 27mm thinner than Panasonic G7. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Nikon P7700 has a built-in lens but Panasonic G7 doesn't. Once you put a lens on G7, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Nikon P7700 and Panasonic G7.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Nikon P7700 and Panasonic G7.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Nikon P7700 is 18g lighter than the Panasonic G7 but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on G7, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Nikon Coolpix P7700 nor Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features

Fully Articulating screens where you can change the angle of the screen to make it easier to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels. Fully articulating screens are also useful for taking Selfies and video.
