Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm X100V and Canon R side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X100V has external dimensions of 128 x 75 x 53 mm (5.04 x 2.95 x 2.09″) and weighs 478 g (1.05 lb / 16.86 oz) (including batteries). Canon R has external dimensions of 136 x 98 x 84 mm (5.35 x 3.86 x 3.31″) and weighs 660 g (1.46 lb / 23.28 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm X100V and the Canon R. Fujifilm X100V is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 8mm narrower, 23mm shorter and 31mm thinner than Canon R. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Fujifilm X100V has a built-in lens but Canon R doesn't. Once you put a lens on EOS R, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm X100V and Canon R.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X100V and Canon R.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Fujifilm X100V is significantly lighter (182g ) than the Canon R which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on EOS R, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Both the X100V and the EOS R have weather sealings in their bodies, making them resistant to water and dust.
LCD Screen Size and Features
Canon R's 3.20" LCD screen is slightly larger than Fujifilm X100V's 3 screen.
