Size and weight is a big decision factor when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, We are going to illustrate Fujifilm X-T2 and Nikon B700 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X-T2 has external dimensions of 133 x 92 x 49 mm (5.24 x 3.62 x 1.9″) and weighs 507 g (including batteries). Nikon B700 has external dimensions of 125 x 85 x 107 mm (4.92 x 3.35 x 4.21″) and weighs 565 g (1.25 lb / 19.93 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front view size comparison of Fujifilm X-T2 and Nikon B700. Nikon B700 is 8mm narrower and 7mm shorter than Fujifilm X-T2 but it is also 58mm thicker. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Nikon B700 has a built-in lens but Fujifilm X-T2 doesn't. Once you put a lens on X-T2, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of Fujifilm X-T2 and Nikon B700.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-T2 and Nikon B700.
Weight is another important factor especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Fujifilm X-T2 is 58g lighter than the Nikon B700 but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on X-T2, the total kit will weigh much higher.
With its weather sealed body, we believe that X-T2 has a big advantage over B700 which doesn't provide any kind of environmental sealing.
LCD Screen Size and Features
Fujifilm X-T2's 3.2" LCD screen is slightly larger than Nikon B700's 3" screen.
