Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm X-T2 and Canon SX620 HS side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X-T2 has external dimensions of 133 x 92 x 49 mm (5.24 x 3.62 x 1.9″) and weighs 507 g (including batteries). Canon SX620 HS has external dimensions of 97 x 57 x 28 mm (3.81 x 2.24 x 1.1″) and weighs 182 g (0.40 lb / 6.42 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T2 and the Canon SX620 HS. Canon SX620 HS is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 36mm narrower, 35mm shorter and 21mm thinner than Fujifilm X-T2. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Canon SX620 HS has a built-in lens but Fujifilm X-T2 doesn't. Once you put a lens on X-T2, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T2 and Canon SX620 HS.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-T2 and Canon SX620 HS.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Canon SX620 HS is significantly lighter (325g ) than the Fujifilm X-T2 which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on X-T2, the total kit will weigh much higher.
With its weather-sealed body, we believe that the X-T2 has a big advantage over the SX620 HS which doesn't provide any kind of environmental sealing.
LCD Screen Size and Features
Fujifilm X-T2's 3.20" LCD screen is slightly larger than Canon SX620 HS's 3" screen.
In addition to the size advantage, Fujifilm X-T2 LCD screen also has a Tilting feature
where you can change the angle of the screen to make it easier to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels. On the other hand, Canon SX620 HS has a fixed type screen which provides less flexibility in shooting positions compared to X-T2.
