Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm X-T2 and Canon M100 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X-T2 has external dimensions of 133 x 92 x 49 mm (5.24 x 3.62 x 1.9″) and weighs 507 g (including batteries). Canon M100 has external dimensions of 108 x 67 x 35 mm (4.25 x 2.64 x 1.38″) and weighs 302 g (0.67 lb / 10.65 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T2 and the Canon M100. Canon M100 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 25mm narrower, 25mm shorter and 14mm thinner than Fujifilm X-T2.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T2 and Canon M100.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-T2 and Canon M100.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Canon M100 is significantly lighter (205g ) than the Fujifilm X-T2 which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since both Fujifilm X-T2 and Canon M100 have the same APS-C sized sensor, their lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will be similar in size and weight.
Weather Sealing
With its weather-sealed body, we believe that the X-T2 has a big advantage over the M100 which doesn't provide any kind of environmental sealing.
LCD Screen Size and Features
Fujifilm X-T2's 3.20" LCD screen is slightly larger than Canon M100's 3" screen.
Both cameras feature
Tilting screens where you can change the angle of the screen to make it easier to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels.
