Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm X-T10 and Sony ZV-1 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X-T10 has external dimensions of 118 x 83 x 41 mm (4.65 x 3.27 x 1.61″) and weighs 381 g (0.84 lb / 13.44 oz) (including batteries). Sony ZV-1 has external dimensions of 105 x 60 x 44 mm (4.13 x 2.36 x 1.73″) and weighs 294 g (0.65 lb / 10.37 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T10 and the Sony ZV-1. Sony ZV-1 is 13mm narrower and 23mm shorter than Fujifilm X-T10 but it is also 3mm thicker. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Sony ZV-1 has a built-in lens but Fujifilm X-T10 doesn't. Once you put a lens on X-T10, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T10 and Sony ZV-1.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-T10 and Sony ZV-1.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Sony ZV-1 is significantly lighter (87g ) than the Fujifilm X-T10 which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on X-T10, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Fujifilm X-T10 nor Sony ZV-1 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features
Fujifilm X-T10 and Sony ZV-1's LCD screens have the same diagonal size of 3.00 inches.
Fujifilm X-T10 features a
Tilting-only screen which is mostly only good for shooting from waist or over-the-head levels. On the other hand, Sony ZV-1 sports a
Fully Articulated screen which is more flexible and useful, especially for taking selfies and video.
