Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm X-T10 and Nikon S33 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X-T10 has external dimensions of 118 x 83 x 41 mm (4.65 x 3.27 x 1.61″) and weighs 381 g (0.84 lb / 13.44 oz) (including batteries). Nikon S33 has external dimensions of 110 x 66 x 27 mm (4.33 x 2.6 x 1.06″) and weighs 221 g (0.49 lb / 7.80 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T10 and the Nikon S33. Nikon S33 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 8mm narrower, 17mm shorter and 14mm thinner than Fujifilm X-T10. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Nikon S33 has a built-in lens but Fujifilm X-T10 doesn't. Once you put a lens on X-T10, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-T10 and Nikon S33.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-T10 and Nikon S33.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Nikon S33 is significantly lighter (160g ) than the Fujifilm X-T10 which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on X-T10, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Thanks to the weather-sealed body of the S33, you can use this camera with more confidence under conditions where there is risk of exposure to water and dust compared to the X-T10.
LCD Screen Size and Features
Fujifilm X-T10's 3.00" LCD screen is slightly larger than Nikon S33's 2.7 screen.
In addition to the size advantage, Fujifilm X-T10 LCD screen also has a
Tilting feature where you can change the angle of the screen to make it easier to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels. On the other hand, Nikon S33 has a fixed type screen which provides less flexibility in shooting positions compared to X-T10.
