Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm X-E2S and Panasonic FS15 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X-E2S has external dimensions of 129 x 75 x 37 mm (5.08 x 2.95 x 1.46″) and weighs 350 g (0.77 lb / 12.35 oz) (including batteries). Panasonic FS15 has external dimensions of 97 x 54 x 22 mm (3.82 x 2.13 x 0.87″) and weighs 136 g (0.30 lb / 4.80 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-E2S and the Panasonic FS15. Panasonic FS15 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 32mm narrower, 21mm shorter and 15mm thinner than Fujifilm X-E2S. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Panasonic FS15 has a built-in lens but Fujifilm X-E2S doesn't. Once you put a lens on X-E2S, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-E2S and Panasonic FS15.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-E2S and Panasonic FS15.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Panasonic FS15 is significantly lighter (214g ) than the Fujifilm X-E2S which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on X-E2S, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Fujifilm X-E2S nor Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features
Fujifilm X-E2S's 3.00" LCD screen is slightly larger than Panasonic FS15's 2.7" screen.
Unfortunately, both cameras has fixed screens so they don't tilt or flip in directions.
