Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-E1 and Fujifilm X-T1.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Fujifilm X-E1 is significantly lighter (90g ) than the Fujifilm X-T1 which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since both Fujifilm X-E1 and Fujifilm X-T1 have the same Fujifilm X lens mount and APS-C sized sensors, lenses will not be a differentiator on total size of the system.
Weather Sealing
Thanks to the weather-sealed body of the X-T1, you can use this camera with more confidence under conditions where there is risk of exposure to water and dust compared to the X-E1.
LCD Screen Size and Features
Fujifilm X-T1's 3.00" LCD screen is slightly larger than Fujifilm X-E1's 2.8" screen.
In addition to the size advantage, Fujifilm X-T1 LCD screen also has a
Tilting feature where you can change the angle of the screen to make it easier to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels. On the other hand, Fujifilm X-E1 has a fixed type screen which provides less flexibility in shooting positions compared to X-T1.
