Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm X-A7 and Nikon A900 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X-A7 has external dimensions of 119 x 68 x 41 mm (4.69 x 1.5 x 1.61″) and weighs 320 g (0.71 lb / 11.29 oz) (including batteries). Nikon A900 has external dimensions of 113 x 67 x 40 mm (4.45 x 2.64 x 1.57″) and weighs 289 g (0.64 lb / 10.19 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-A7 and the Nikon A900. Nikon A900 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 6mm narrower, 1mm shorter and 1mm thinner than Fujifilm X-A7. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Nikon A900 has a built-in lens but Fujifilm X-A7 doesn't. Once you put a lens on X-A7, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-A7 and Nikon A900.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-A7 and Nikon A900.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Nikon A900 is 31g lighter than the Fujifilm X-A7 but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on X-A7, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Fujifilm X-A7 nor Nikon Coolpix A900 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features
