Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm X-A2 and Panasonic GX7 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X-A2 has external dimensions of 117 x 67 x 40 mm (4.61 x 2.64 x 1.57″) and weighs 350 g (0.77 lb / 12.35 oz) (including batteries). Panasonic GX7 has external dimensions of 123 x 71 x 55 mm (4.83 x 2.78 x 2.15″) and weighs 402 g (0.89 lb / 14.18 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-A2 and the Panasonic GX7. Fujifilm X-A2 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 6mm narrower, 4mm shorter and 15mm thinner than Panasonic GX7.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-A2 and Panasonic GX7.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-A2 and Panasonic GX7.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Fujifilm X-A2 is 52g lighter than the Panasonic GX7 but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since Fujifilm X-A2 has an APS-C sized sensor and Panasonic GX7 has a smaller Four Thirds sensor, Panasonic GX7's lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will generally be lighter and smaller than the Fujifilm X-A2 lenses.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Fujifilm X-A2 nor Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX7 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. If weather sealing is a must-have feature for you, check these sections: Top Mirrorless Cameras with Weather Sealing
