Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm HS50 EXR and Fujifilm X-T10 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm HS50 EXR has external dimensions of and weighs 808 g (including batteries). Fujifilm X-T10 has external dimensions of 118 x 83 x 41 mm (4.65 x 3.27 x 1.61″) and weighs 381 g (0.84 lb / 13.44 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm HS50 EXR and the Fujifilm X-T10. Fujifilm X-T10 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 17mm narrower, 18mm shorter and 105mm thinner than Fujifilm HS50 EXR. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Fujifilm HS50 EXR has a built-in lens but Fujifilm X-T10 doesn't. Once you put a lens on X-T10, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm HS50 EXR and Fujifilm X-T10.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm HS50 EXR and Fujifilm X-T10.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Fujifilm X-T10 is significantly lighter (427g ) than the Fujifilm HS50 EXR which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on X-T10, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Fujifilm FinePix HS50 EXR nor Fujifilm X-T10 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features
Fujifilm HS50 EXR and Fujifilm X-T10's LCD screens have the same diagonal size of 3.00 inches.
Fujifilm X-T10 features a
Tilting-only screen which is mostly only good for shooting from waist or over-the-head levels. On the other hand, Fujifilm HS50 EXR sports a
Fully Articulated screen which is more flexible and useful, especially for taking selfies and video.
