Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Canon G5 X and Fujifilm X-A7 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Canon G5 X has external dimensions of 112 x 76 x 44 mm (4.41 x 2.99 x 1.73″) and weighs 353 g (0.78 lb / 12.45 oz) (including batteries). Fujifilm X-A7 has external dimensions of 119 x 68 x 41 mm (4.69 x 1.5 x 1.61″) and weighs 320 g (0.71 lb / 11.29 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Canon G5 X and the Fujifilm X-A7. Fujifilm X-A7 is 8mm shorter and 3mm thinner than Canon G5 X but it is also 7mm wider. As you can tell, actually this is not a fair size comparison since Canon G5 X has a built-in lens but Fujifilm X-A7 doesn't. Once you put a lens on X-A7, its thickness will increase significantly.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Canon G5 X and Fujifilm X-A7.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Canon G5 X and Fujifilm X-A7.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Fujifilm X-A7 is 33g lighter than the Canon G5 X but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Again, this comparison may not be very useful in real life as we are comparing the weight of a camera with a built-in lens to the body-only weight of an interchangeable lens camera. Once you put a lens on X-A7, the total kit will weigh much higher.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Canon PowerShot G5 X nor Fujifilm X-A7 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features
Fujifilm X-A7's 3.50" LCD screen is slightly larger than Canon G5 X's 3 screen.
