Power Zoom is a lens feature where you can use the physical controls (usually a rocker switch) on the lens body or camera in order to electronically zoom in and out the lens in a smooth and controlled way. Without a power zoom, rotating the zoom ring manually with hand generally introduces shake to the footage and it is hard to achieve a constant zooming speed.
