Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Nikon Df and Fujifilm X-A1 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Nikon Df has external dimensions of 144 x 110 x 67 mm (5.67 x 4.33 x 2.64″) and weighs 760 g (1.68 lb / 26.81 oz) (including batteries). Fujifilm X-A1 has external dimensions of 117 x 67 x 39 mm (4.6 x 2.62 x 1.54″) and weighs 330 g (0.73 lb / 11.64 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Nikon Df and the Fujifilm X-A1. Fujifilm X-A1 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 27mm narrower, 43mm shorter and 28mm thinner than Nikon Df.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Nikon Df and Fujifilm X-A1.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Nikon Df and Fujifilm X-A1.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Fujifilm X-A1 is significantly lighter (430g ) than the Nikon Df which may become a big advantage especially on long walking trips.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since Nikon Df has a Full frame sensor and Fujifilm X-A1 has a smaller APS-C sensor, Fujifilm X-A1's lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will generally be lighter and smaller than the Nikon Df lenses.
Weather Sealing
With its weather-sealed body, we believe that the Df has a big advantage over the X-A1 which doesn't provide any kind of environmental sealing.
LCD Screen Size and Features
Nikon Df's 3.20" LCD screen is slightly larger than Fujifilm X-A1's 3" screen.
