Size and weight are big decision factors when you are trying to find the ideal camera for your needs.
In this section, we are going to illustrate the Fujifilm X-E3 and Canon M100 side-by-side from the front, back and top in their relative dimensions. Fujifilm X-E3 has external dimensions of 121 x 74 x 43 mm (4.8 x 2.9 x 1.7 and weighs 337 g (0.74 lb / 11.88 oz) (including batteries). Canon M100 has external dimensions of 108 x 67 x 35 mm (4.25 x 2.64 x 1.38″) and weighs 302 g (0.67 lb / 10.65 oz) (including batteries).
Below you can see the front-view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-E3 and the Canon M100. Canon M100 is clearly the smaller of the two cameras. Its body is 13mm narrower, 7mm shorter and 8mm thinner than Fujifilm X-E3.
Here is the back view size comparison of the Fujifilm X-E3 and Canon M100.
Now lets look at the top view comparison of Fujifilm X-E3 and Canon M100.
Weight is another important factor, especially when deciding on a camera that you want to carry with you all day.
Canon M100 is 35g lighter than the Fujifilm X-E3 but we don't think this will make a significant difference.
Also keep in mind that body weight is not the only deciding factor when comparing two interchangeable camera bodies, you also have to take into account the lenses that you will be using with these bodies. Since both Fujifilm X-E3 and Canon M100 have the same APS-C sized sensor, their lenses for a similar focal length and aperture will be similar in size and weight.
Weather Sealing
Unfortunately neither the Fujifilm X-E3 nor Canon EOS M100 provides any type of weather sealing in their bodies, so you have to give extra care especially when you are shooting outdoors. LCD Screen Size and Features
Fujifilm X-E3 and Canon M100's LCD screens have the same diagonal size of 3.00 inches.
On the other hand, Canon M100 features a
Tilting screen where you can change the angle of the screen to make it easier to shoot from waist or over-the-head levels whereas the Fujifilm X-E3 has a fixed type screen which provides less flexibility in shooting positions compared to M100.
